Congratulations to James Burroughs, vice president, chief equity and inclusion officer at Children’s Minnesota, for being selected as one of Minnesota Lawyer’s Diversity and Inclusion Awards honorees for 2021!

The Minnesota Lawyer-Diversity & Inclusion Awards recognizes groups and individuals who have made a significant impact with respect to diversity and inclusion on the greater community or within their organizations. The honorees were chosen by an independent panel based on their achievements and their commitment to the Minnesota diversity and inclusion community.

His key focus areas include patient quality initiatives, employee recruitment and retention strategies and organizational culture. His work also focuses on increasing financial investment and spend with diverse businesses and supporting initiatives that address the social determinants of health for patients and families.
