Medical assistant lead shares her four-year career experience at Children’s Minnesota

Robertta, medical assistant lead at our Partners in Pediatrics (PIP) Primary Care Clinic – Maple Grove location, has been working at Children’s Minnesota for four years now. She is sharing all her favorite things about working at Children’s Minnesota below.

What’s your position and how long have you been at Children’s Minnesota?

“I’m a lead lab medical assistant and I’ve been working at Children’s Minnesota for four years now.”


Tell us why you like your job/position?

“I enjoy caring for others and providing patients with compassion and understanding. I also enjoy working with kids, seeing their smiles and comforting them after vaccines and procedures.”

What do you like working in this field/department?

“Children are our future, and it brings me joy knowing I played a role in their lives for a brighter future and health.”

Why do you like working at Children’s Minnesota?

“I love the diversity, equity and inclusion that Children’s Minnesota has. And I also love my coworkers at the PIP Primary Care Clinic in Maple Grove.”
