Translations orientation at Children’s Minnesota
As a contracted interpreter, you are an integral part of the Children’s Minnesota team. For many families, your work is critical to ensuring Children’s Minnesota can provide the high-quality, family-centered care every child deserves. Please read more about our mission and our culture and values.
In this orientation, we set sets expectations for contracted interpreters at Children’s Minnesota. There are four categories of information for you to review:
- Dressing appropriately
- Arriving at, leaving and cancelling assignments
- Interacting with families and sensitive information
- Staying safe
This orientation is a requirement of The Joint Commission, an organization that accredits and certifies medical institutions. You need to read all sections of this orientation before beginning any children’s assignments.
Certificate of completion
After you’ve completed the orientation, please:
- Complete our certificate of completion form to acknowledge your completion of the agency interpreter education and acceptance of Children’s Minnesota confidentiality agreement.
- Let your agency know that you have completed this orientation.
