Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union is now offering an option to donate reward points directly to Children’s. Reward points can be earned a variety of easy ways, including using your debit card, direct deposits or becoming a member. The Participation Rewards Program has been offering this unique donation option since March and more than 95,000 points — or $2,000 — have already been donated.

From Saturday, August 25 – Friday, August 31, Twin Cities area Great Clips franchisees will host the 26th Annual Cut-a-thon, supporting the school re-entry program at Children’s. A portion of the proceeds from each haircut will help kids with cancer or other serious illnesses go back to school with confidence. Locate the salon nearest to you and call ahead to confirm they’re participating in the Cut-a-Thon. Stylists will also be donating all or a portion of their tips. Throughout the entire month of August, customers can purchase a cardboard backpack for a donation of a $1 or more, and receive a coupon for $2 off their next Great Clips haircut and each location will also be collecting donations.
What do you do with the earned interest on your bank account? It is often a small amount of money, but added together, there is potential for millions of dollars in donations each year. At Interest for Others, we’re putting all that earned interest to work by creating an online giving platform that allows you to donate to a charity you love.
Shop to give: 100 percent of net profits on special edition books and plush characters benefit children’s health and education initiatives. Everyone knows books are good for children, but Kohl’s brings new meaning to the idea of books benefiting America’s youth.
M & M Mortgage is passionate about helping their clients find the perfect mortgage for their individual needs. And, they’re also passionate about helping Children’s. M & M Mortgage donates $25 from each funded loan to the most urgent needs at Children’s. Additionally, they are participating in Children’s Fill A Room With Care initiative with a goal of raising $100,000 for Children’s in five years.
All Minnesota (except Marshall, MN), South Dakota, North Dakota and Iowa Papa John’s will be offering 20% off online orders as well as donating 20% of each order to Children’s Minnesota when you use the code ChildrensMN. The money donated through this on-going campaign will help provide families with meals during their stay at Children’s.
Sota Clothing Co. and Children’s Minnesota are collaborating in 2018 to raise money for the Cancer Kids Fund, which helps patients and their families in the midst of a cancer diagnosis. Throughout the year, Sota will volunteer, host events and direct proceeds from sales — all to benefit Children’s and the Cancer Kids Fund.
Children’s Minnesota is partnering with Tetchy Tech to encourage the community to recycle their pre-owned smartphones, tablets, and other devices for a good cause. Tetchy Tech makes it possible for people visiting their website to get a great price for their old device – and contribute 100% of the value of a device to Children’s Minnesota. And not only that – Tetchy Tech pledges 5% of all money paid out to sellers who do not choose their ‘Give Back’ option to a dedicated ‘Give Back Fund’ to benefit Children’s Minnesota and other local nonprofits.
TIM HORTONS®, one of North America’s largest restaurant chains operating in the quick service segment, recently signed on to be the coffee donor for Children’s Family Resource Centers. Thanks to their generosity, patient families are invited and encouraged to refresh and rejuvenate with a complimentary cup of freshly brewed, premium (regular or decaf) coffee whenever they visit our Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses.
