About the fellowship
Children’s Minnesota ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery has offered advanced post-graduate training in pediatric otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery since 2002. The fellowship is provided through the University of Minnesota Department of Otolaryngology. Each year we interview graduates from otolaryngology training programs throughout the country interested in obtaining advanced training in tertiary pediatric ENT and one applicant is chosen to work side-by-side with our doctors and learn how to care for children with complex ear, nose, throat, cleft and craniofacial disorders.
Each year, our fellow averages more than 1,000 complex pediatric cases. These cases include head and neck (including thyroid), microtia and other ear shape abnormalities, complex otology and cochlear implantation, double digit open airways, endoscopic airway, sinus, skull base, and unparalleled numbers of cleft and craniofacial procedures.
