Children’s Minnesota physician receives Emerging Scientist Award from Children’s Cancer Research Fund

Children’s Minnesota is pleased to announced Dr. Nathan Gossai has received an Emerging Scientist Award for 2021 from Children’s Cancer Research Fund. The award is a $100,000 grant designed to develop the independent research of exceptional investigators still early in their careers.

Hillery Smith Shay, MBA, joins Children’s Minnesota as vice president of marketing and communications

Children’s Minnesota is pleased to announce Hillery Smith Shay, MBA, as its new vice president of marketing and communications, effective immediately. In her new role, Shay will provide leadership and strategic direction for organizational communications, marketing and brand strategy, and outreach functions.

Children’s Minnesota cardiovascular team welcomes three new members

The cardiovascular team at Children’s Minnesota is excited to announce the addition of two new physicians to their team: Shashi Raj, MD, FAAP, FACC, and Erica Molitor-Kirsch, MD. Dr. Raj and Dr. Molitor-Kirsch are pediatric cardiac intensivists in our cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU). We’re also excited to announce an additional pediatric nurse practitioner, Andrea Lueck, APRN, CNP, DNP.

Launched at the beginning of 2020, Children’s Minnesota Stroke Clinic provides comprehensive care for patients with history of stoke, acute post-event evaluations and long-term management.
