The Children’s Minnesota surgical team is trained in a wide variety of surgical specialties to care exclusively for the needs of children – infants, teens, young adults and even babies who are still in the womb. Surgical specialties include, but are not limited to:

Children’s Minnesota is special. Very few surgery programs in the country can meet the national quality and safety standards that allow them to be recognized as a Level I Children’s Surgery Center. Level I is the highest level of distinction awarded by the American College of Surgeons for health systems that perform routine to complex surgical procedures in newborns, children and teens. The Level 1 Children’s Surgery Center in Minneapolis is one of three Level 1 Children’s Surgery Centers in the state of Minnesota.
