Each year, thousands of children are diagnosed with cancer, severely affecting what many of us take for granted – the ability to have a healthy childhood. The mission of the Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic (PTATC) is to host an annual mixed doubles tennis tournament to raise funds that primarily support research to lessen the suffering caused by childhood cancer. Funds raised benefit the cancer research program at Children’s Minnesota.
We are proud to announce the launch of our book “Our Fear Never Sleeps: Let Go to Fight for What’s Possible”. The book describes the story of our journey with our son, Kieran, who was diagnosed with a severe birth defect in utero and given a less than 25% chance of surviving. The team at Children’s Minnesota helped our son not only survive, but thrive.

Register today for Walk for Amazing, a fundraiser for Children’s Minnesota and a celebration of our extended family —our patients, their care teams, siblings, parents and everyone who believes in a brighter future for Minnesota kids. Every year we get together inside U.S. Bank Stadium (home of the Vikings) for a ceremonial walk, inspiring stories and big fun on the field. Because Children’s Minnesota is a nonprofit, we rely on fundraising efforts like these to deliver the excellent health care kids deserve.
