During COVID-19 Star Studio had to get creative in the way they film, produce and distribute entertainment to patients and families at Children's Minnesota.
At Children’s Minnesota, we put kids first, and we know that kids get better quicker when we take care of the whole family. This is why we offer many services and amenities to the whole family in addition to typical health care services.
Eriq Nelson, Star Studio producer and talent, explains the how the wrap-around care services, such as Star Studio, offered at Children’s Minnesota help kids and families.
October 7, 2017, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m., Saint Paul
Join award-winning pianist Yumiko Oshima-Ryan and the Gustavus Symphony Orchestra at the Star Studio Symphony on Saturday, October 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Sundin Hall. Enjoy music, dance performances and even an instrument "petting zoo" where kids can learn all about the sections and sounds that make up an orchestra. This is a free concert! All donations from the event benefit music programs, performances and partnerships with Star Studio, Children's Minnesota's very own in-house TV studio.
Children’s Minnesota provides developmentally supportive services and programs to help kids of all ages understand and increase coping with medical care. We build on children's strengths and skills to optimize their responses for health and well-being.
Star Studio is Children's very own in-house TV studio — offering programming in studio spaces on both campuses. On Children’s own TV channel, Star Studio provides positive, memorable experiences for patients and families as an alternative to mainstream and commercial entertainment. A broad range of shows has been thoughtfully prepared for viewing 24 hours a day. Whether in the studios or on the TV, Star Studio offers something the whole family can enjoy together.
