National Neonatal Nurses Week 2021

In honor of Neonatal Nurses Week, September 13-19, 2021, we are highlighting Jill Bauer, registered nurse and health professional liaison for neonatal at Children’s Minnesota. Jill has been an RN for 40 years and has been a NICU nurse for 36 years.

Get a haircut that makes a difference during the Great Clips cut-a-thon

The 29th annual Great Clips cut-a-thon will take place from Saturday, Aug. 27, through Friday, Sept. 2. Great Clips salons are donating a portion of proceeds from each haircut to support the school re-entry program at Children’s Minnesota. This program helps kids with cancer and other serious illnesses go back to school with confidence.

Children’s Minnesota expands mental health services for teens

Children’s Minnesota is expanding its behavioral health services by offering a new outpatient mental health program for adolescents. Improving access to intensive treatment comes at a critical time as the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the mental health crisis for kids and teens.
