James Burroughs named a health system diversity, equity and inclusion officer to know by Becker’s

Congratulations to James Burroughs, senior vice president, government and community relations, chief equity and inclusion officer, for being recognized as a 2023 health system diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) officer to know by Becker’s Hospital Review. James is one of 86 DEI leaders who are directing efforts to create inclusive health care environments where everyone feels welcomed, valued and safe.

James was honored for developing a plan to advance the equity and inclusion internship program, expand our employee resource groups (ERGs), design and revise safety and policing policies, and leading an organizational commitment to transparency in the development of disaggregated racial data reporting for hiring, retention and supplier diversity.
