Ever peed in a cup? Then you've probably had a urinalysis, or a pee test. A urinalysis helps doctors learn more about what's going on inside the body. Sometimes pee has stuff in it that shouldn't be there, like sugar, which may mean that a kid has diabetes. If a kid has a bladder infection, a doctor might find bacteria or white blood cells in their pee. A doctor can spot these and many other problems by doing a urinalysis.
