60+ Children’s doctors recognized as “Rising Stars” by peers in Mpls.St.Paul Magazine

Congratulations to the 64 Children’s Minnesota physicians recognized by Mpls.St.Paul Magazine as 2019 “Rising Stars.” The fifth edition of the Top Doctors Rising Stars list highlights up-and-coming physicians who have been fully licensed to practice for approximately 10 years or less and are recognized for their achievements by peers. This year’s list includes 406 doctors in 44 specialties, who were selected after a peer-nomination process. Candidates were evaluated on myriad factors, including (but not limited to) peer recognition, professional achievement and disciplinary history. Only doctors who received the highest total points from the surveys, research and blue-ribbon panel were selected to this list.

“It’s a great honor to have so many of our physicians recognized for their high-quality and compassionate care, particularly these rising stars who are still early in their career,” said Dr. Emily Chapman, chief medical officer and vice president of medical affairs at Children’s Minnesota. “We are proud of the great impact our physicians make in the lives of patients and families every day.”

The Rising Stars are listed in the April issue of the magazine and online. Congratulations to all of our Rising Stars and thank you for all the remarkable work you do!
