Children’s Minnesota launches Gender Health Program

Dr. Angela Kade Goepferd sat down with KARE11 to discuss the launch of the new Gender Health Program. Pam, the mother of an 11-year-old transgender girl, emphasized the benefits a program like this one brings to her family. “It was very hard and for someone to be able to access a whole program that has it all right there… it’s a wonderful thing,” she said. Specialists in gender health, pediatric endocrinology and gynecology and more are available through the program.
