Congratulations to the Children’s Minnesota Professional Staff Services Credentialing team for receiving National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Accreditation in Credentialing/Recredentialing. NCQA is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. The NCQA Credentialing Accreditation demonstrates the quality of our credentialing program to employers, regulatory agencies, health plans and managed behavioral healthcare organizations.
Achieving accreditation ensures Children’s Minnesota aligns with best practices in the credentialing industry as we accurately and efficiently credential and recredential health care professionals within our organization. Accreditation is also a representation of the quality of our credentialing program, including creation and adherence to qualifications that our clinicians are trained and approved to provide care to the most amazing people on earth.

NCQA Accreditation is governed by the Standards for Accreditation in Utilization Management and the Standards for Accreditation in Credentialing, developed with the assistance of representatives from the Standards Committee, the Review Oversight Committee, and input from other organizations. Accreditation is granted for three years.
