Dr. Angela Kade Goepferd honored by Lavender Magazine’s 2023 Community Pride Awards

Congratulations to Dr. Angela Kade Goepferd, chief education officer and medical director of the Gender Health program at Children’s Minnesota, for winning a 2023 Community Pride Award from Lavender Magazine. The magazine wrote that “From our first cover of 2023, Dr. Angela Kade Goepferd sat front and center ensuring the lives of Trans and Non-Binary youth that they are loved and protected in the state of Minnesota,” when highlighting why they were selected as a winner for the award’s “Individual” category. In January, the magazine featured Dr. Goepferd on the cover of its 2023 Health and Wellness issue.

Lavender Magazine’s award coincides with Pride Month in June. Later this month, Dr. Goepferd will serve as Grand Marshal of the 2023 Twin Cities Pride parade.

Dr. Goepferd and their fellow winners in other categories will be honored at an event hosted by Lavender Magazine in July. You can read more about Dr. Goepferd and the 2023 Community Pride Award here.
