Minnesota Twins superstar Carlos Correa and the Correa Family Foundation visit Children’s Minnesota

On Thursday, Minnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa, his wife Daniella, and representatives from the Correa Family Foundation visited our Minneapolis hospital campus. There, they met with patient families in Children’s Minnesota’s cancer and blood disorders program. The Correa family and their team visited with pediatric patients receiving inpatient cancer treatment in our hospital, and they also stopped at our Cancer and Blood Disorders Clinic. Since Carlos Correa first joined the Twins in 2022, the Correa Family Foundation has provided $80,000 in financial assistance directly to more than 50 Children’s Minnesota patient families undergoing cancer and blood disorders treatment. This financial support helps patient families from throughout the Upper Midwest cover expenses such as mortgage payments, rent, transportation costs and more.
