“The Mother Baby Center is a unique partnership between Allina Health and Children’s Minnesota, and I look forward to working with the care teams as we build on their strong history of providing expert care to families,” said Dr. Lane. “I am passionate about standardized care models and pathways that ensure patients are getting high-quality, evidenced based care. I also want to work with the provider team to design models of care that support an improved work-life balance for providers while still delivering high quality care to the patients we serve.”

With an interest in reducing racial disparities in maternal and infant mortality, Dr. Lane believes a commitment to facilitating cultural competency among caregivers and promoting an understanding of the diverse communities we serve will help build trust in the health care system.

In addition to leading The Mother Baby Center, Dr. Lane will oversee the full spectrum of the Women’s Health service line at Allina Health from well woman care, OB-GYN, midwifery, gynecology, urogynecology and Allina Health birth centers.

Dr. Lane received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Notre Dame, MBA from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business, and her Doctor of Medicine from the Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Vincent Hospital and Health Services in Indianapolis.
