2026 Pediatric acute wound care and suturing courses for health care professionals

Children’s Minnesota offers pediatric acute wound care and suturing courses for health care professionals. Online lectures and in-person training sessions teach attendees about suturing techniques, laceration repair, sedation, and a variety of skills related to acute wound management for kids.

This course is an online, self-service format with video presentations and learning checks.

In-person workshops

Hands-on Pediatric Wound and Suturing Workshops
The upcoming in-person workshops will be held at the Children’s Minnesota – Minneapolis Hospital

  • May 12, 2026, 9 am – 1 pm
  • November 17, 2026, 9 am – 1 pm

Note: Completion of the online course modules is a prerequisite to attend the in-person workshops.
