Protecting our children: my conversation with gun safety advocate David Riedman

There was a time when cars were the #1 killer of American children. Today, it’s guns. But we don’t need to outlaw guns, just like we didn’t need to outlaw cars. We need to follow a public health approach, like we did with cars, so one day guns will no longer be the biggest threat to kids’ lives.

How do we do that? That’s what gun safety advocate David Riedman and I recently discussed on his Back to School Shootings podcast. I hope you will take a moment to listen.
