A walker is a walking aid that helps kids who have balance problems and leg weakness.
Kids who have trouble walking but can bear weight on their legs and take steps with assistance sometimes need to use a walker. Walkers are also helpful for kids who need to walk with handheld support.
Walkers are usually covered by insurance, but you might need to show proof of medical need from your child's doctor.
