Great Clips Cut-a-thon
From Saturday, August 26 – Friday, Sept. 1, Twin Cities area Great Clips franchisees will host the 25th Annual Cut-a-thon, supporting the school re-entry program at Children’s. A portion of the proceeds from each haircut will help kids with cancer or other serious illnesses go back to school with confidence. The school re-entry program helps address the medical and emotional needs of a child returning to school after battling cancer or other serious illnesses. The program helps educate classmates, teachers and parents. Services often include providing resource materials, phone consultations and/or a visit to the school by a child life specialist. Designed for flexibility, the program tailors services to meet the needs of each child and family. Locate the salon nearest to you and call ahead to confirm they’re participating in the Cut-a-Thon. Stylists will also be donating all or a portion of their tips.
Throughout the entire month of August, customers can purchase a cardboard backpack for a donation of a $1 or more, and receive a coupon for $2 off their next Great Clips haircut and each location will also be collecting donations. To date, the Great Clips Cut-A-Thon has raised $1.5M for Children’s school re-entry program.
