Children’s Minnesota is thrilled to announce that Talking Pediatrics, our clinical pediatric podcast, won a platinum 2022 eHealthcare Leadership Award in the Best Digital Physician Engagement category.
The eHealthcare Leadership Award recognizes the best websites and digital communications of health care organizations and the role they play in achieving business objectives. The Best Digital Physician Engagement category focused on bringing audiences intriguing stories and relevant health care information as a way to unofficially partner with providers in the care of their patients.
An independent panel of 143 marketing and communications experts, strategists and C-suite executives evaluated entries looking for creativity, strategy and key metrics of success like podcast downloads and webpage views. One judge said, “I love everything about this [Talking Pediatrics]. It’s appealing, quick, and, most of all, effective.”
About Talking Pediatrics
Talking Pediatrics is Children’s Minnesota’s highly regarded weekly clinical podcast featuring curated content for physicians and other health care providers. Launched in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, the podcast began as an innovative way to expand Children’s Minnesota’s educational programming when in-person events were limited or nonexistent. It was especially important to get information out about COVID-19.
It is designed to position Children’s Minnesota as The Kid Experts™ by providing clinicians with information on relevant pediatric topics, including mental health, clinical guidelines, equity and inclusion and more. Talking Pediatrics has produced over 100 episodes to date.
