Dr. Gigi Chawla talks adverse childhood experiences with TPT-PBS

Dr. Gigi Chawla, chief of general pediatrics, appeared in a five-part TPT-PBS docu-series about adverse childhood experiences and trauma. In the first installment, Dr. Chawla spoke on the significant financial and health cost associated with adverse childhood experiences, as well as the importance of healthy brain development. Additionally, she spoke on the importance of working together with vulnerable communities to reduce social determinants of health.
