What inspired you to go into your field?

“Growing up, my mother worked for Partners in Pediatrics. I used to visit her during doctor appointments, and those experiences left a strong impression on me. I saw how healthcare professionals worked together to support families, and I loved the environment. That’s what sparked my interest in this field. Seeing firsthand how administrative roles support something bigger.”

Do you have a favorite memory from working at Children’s Minnesota?

“One of my favorite memories was watching members of the marketing team create a video for the Star Gala. Being able to witness a snippet of the creative process that goes into such a major event was inspiring. I saw the time, energy, and heart that goes into telling our stories and celebrating the work we do. It reminded me how many talented people are working behind the scenes.”

Why did you decide to work in pediatrics and at Children’s Minnesota?

“Children’s Minnesota stood out to me not just for its reputation, but for its culture. It’s a place where kids and families are at the center, and where the team really believes in their work. Pediatrics holds a special place in my heart because of my childhood experiences, delivering my daughter here, and being here feels like coming full circle.”

What is your favorite Children’s Minnesota value and why?

“My favorite value is inclusive. There’s nothing like being able to show up as your full self. When people are accepted and celebrated for who they are, it opens the door to stronger collaboration, creativity, and connection. I truly feel seen and supported at Children’s Minnesota, and that level of inclusion allows me to give my best every day.”
