Every expectant parent deserves personalized care that meets their unique set of needs, and that’s exactly what we deliver here at The Mother Baby Center,” said Dr. Lisa Saul, president of Mother Baby clinical service line. “We look forward to the continued evolution of this award as more complex care is integrated and evaluated to support parents that need more highly specialized care.”

This first edition of the list primarily evaluated hospitals for their overall quality of care for uncomplicated pregnancies, and reviewed data including:

  • Birth rate for cesarean delivery (C-section) among low-risk births.
  • Rate of unexpected newborn complications in term newborns.
  • Rate of exclusive breast milk feeding.
  • Confirmation of hospitals routinely offers vaginal birth after cesarean.

Of the nearly 600 hospitals across the country that shared their data, The Mother Baby Centers were among 237 to be recognized as High Performing.
