Samreen Vora, MD, recipient of the Emerging Leader award

Congratulations to Dr. Samreen Vora, medical director of the simulation center, for receiving the Emerging Leader award from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare Emergency Medicine Section.

Dr. Vora was recognized for her innovative approach to teaching and inter-professional education activities throughout the organization. Most notably, Dr. Vora spearheaded the effort to ensure a smooth transition for a large group of neonatologists new to the hospital.

This award recognizes a leader in their clinical or simulation training with less than five years of experience as a faculty member in the field of Emergency Medicine Simulation. Recipients demonstrate leadership that extends beyond their department, leading to collaboration between specialties, professions, and organizations.
