Secure your entry into Grandma’s Marathon or half marathon with Children’s Minnesota

Registration opens for Grandma’s Marathon and the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon on Oct. 1. But why wait until Oct. 1 when you can secure an entry into either race today by joining Children’s charity team, Team Superstars!

  1. Sign up to join Team Superstars here.
  2. When you join, you will be asked to pay your race fee and commit to raising $750 (half marathon) or $500 (marathon) for your favorite Children’s program or area. If you are unable to participate on race day for any reason or choose not to race, you will still be required to meet the fundraising minimum.
  3. Set up your fundraising page.
  4. Register for your designated race using Children’s charity code and instructions.

Team members receive a personal, customizable fundraising page, race-day apparel, training and fundraising support, and an invitation to a team celebration.

About Team Superstars

Team Superstars was founded in 2014 when marketing and recruitment began in earnest. The first cohort of athletes participated in the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon and TC 10-mile in October 2015. In June 2016, Team Superstars expanded to include Grandma’s Marathon weekend events. More than 300 employees, patient families and community members have gone the distance for kids and have raised over $500,000 by participating in one of our partner races or an event of their choosing.
