Children’s Minnesota is hiring for our newest behavioral health program in Lakeville, Minn.

Children's Minnesota Lakeville clinicIn 2021, Children’s Minnesota opened its newest location: Children’s Minnesota Specialty Center—Lakeville. Later this year, we will expand the current services to include an intensive outpatient behavioral health program, which will allow adolescents to receive critical mental health care in a clinic setting rather than in a hospital. Learn more about this program:

  • This is an outpatient program for adolescents from age 13-17 who are being treated for acute mental health concerns.
  • For the 2-3 week program duration, adolescents will participate in the program on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. They can be at home with their families on evenings and weekends.

Program therapist

The program therapist is primarily responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, planning and implementation of psychosocial services; conducting individual, group and family therapy services; and performing discharge planning for patients within the adolescent partial hospital program. The therapist collaborates with other members of the multi-disciplinary team to develop treatment goals and assess performance to goals.

We are seeking applicants with the following qualifications:

  • Experience in pediatric mental health care.
  • Required certifications: LICSW, LMFT, LPCC and BLS.
  • Must be licensed in the state of Minnesota.
  • Master’s degree in social work, marriage & family therapy, or clinical counseling.

Lead program therapist

The lead program therapist is primarily responsible for supervising therapy services in the adolescent partial hospital program. As a program therapist, your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, planning, conducting individual, group and family therapy services; and performing discharge planning. As lead, your primary responsibilities include supervising 3-4 therapists providing PHP services and developing clinical programming to support a safe, high quality, exceptional PHP program for adolescents.

We are seeking applicants with the following qualifications:

  • Clinical program development experience.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Experience in pediatric mental health care.
  • Required certifications: LICSW, LMFT, LPCC and BLS.
  • Must be licensed in the state of Minnesota.
  • Master’s degree in social work, marriage & family therapy, or clinical counseling.
