This lab technical specialist role is responsible for the technical operations of the chemistry area of the lab. You would support testing and staffing activities to ensure the area meets quality and service expectations. You will also act as a lab liaison to other areas of the hospital.

Manager, lab client services (Minneapolis and St. Paul)
The manager of client lab services is responsible for the management and coordination of outreach, phlebotomy and referral/research testing services at both the St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses. The manager is accountable for assisting with the development and management of the budget, meeting customer service levels, meeting regulatory requirements and fostering employee engagement. The position also serves as a technical consultant for Children’s Minnesota’s offsite owned and aligned eCW clinic laboratories.
Phlebotomist
Phlebotomists interact with patients and families to perform blood draws, monitor for unexpected reactions and respond to emergency situations. A phlebotomist also provides a variety of other services including, but not limited to, answering the telephone, sweat sodium collection, throat culture collection, glucose tolerance testing and waived laboratory testing.
