Children’s Minnesota offers a Summer Nurse Internship for pre-licensure nursing students the summer between junior and senior year. This paid internship allows nursing students to experience working in a clinical setting under the direct supervision of a clinical nurse.
Key dates
- Application available: October 30 – December 1, 2023
- Interviews anticipated: January 2024
- Offers anticipated end of January/beginning of February 2024
- Internship dates: June 3 – August 9, 2024
Students currently enrolled in a Baccalaureate Degree Nursing program with graduation anticipated within 12 months of internship. Interns must be enrolled in a summer academic course and complete required coursework while participating in the program. Students must complete full duration of internship. All exceptions or special circumstances must be discussed during interview process.
