What Does Hearing Loss Mean?

Hearing Loss

What do you hear with? Your ears, of course. Hearing loss happens when one or more parts of your ears don't work correctly and you can't hear perfectly.

Someone with hearing loss may hear some sounds or nothing at all. People can be born with hearing loss, or it can happen later because of injury or illness.
