What's a Stye?

Stye

A stye is a small bump near the edge of the eyelid where the eyelashes are. Styes form when a gland in the eyelid gets clogged with oil, old skin cells, or dead germs. Styes can get red, swollen, and painful. Putting a warm washcloth on the stye a couple times a day will help it feel better soon.
