Implementing a program to eliminate/reduce needle pain in children
Children’s Minnesota has reduced pain for children during needle procedures through implementation of the Children’s Comfort Promise. By reducing and eliminating pain whenever possible, kids see that medical care is here to help them, not hurt them. They’re less fearful, and most important of all, patients and parents are happier.
The modules below provide information and strategies designed to help clinicians implement the Comfort Promise strategies at Children’s Minnesota.
