At Children’s, we know how to assess and treat each child’s specific nutrition needs. During our initial, thorough nutrition assessment, we review your child’s growth history, feeding history, lab results and medications. If nutrition risks are identified, our dietitian manages your child’s clinical nutrition needs throughout the duration of his or her inpatient stay. Children who visit our outpatient clinics also receive comprehensive nutrition assessments, treatment and follow-up.
As part of your child’s care team, we work closely with your family to implement individually tailored solutions and identify resources that best support your child’s unique situation.
