Children’s Minnesota collaborations recognized by U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospitals

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL (Oct. 7, 2025) — Children’s Minnesota is pleased to announce that its care collaborations have once again been recognized as top performing in the U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospitals for 2025-2026. The rankings are designed to help parents and caregivers, along with their physicians, in navigating the challenges of finding the best possible care for children with serious illnesses or complex medical needs.

“At Children’s Minnesota, our kid experts are committed to delivering the highest quality care centered around the unique needs of children and their families,” said Dr. Emily Chapman, president and CEO of Children’s Minnesota. “This recognition for two of our strong collaborations is a testament to what’s possible when dedicated experts unite for a common purpose — providing innovative and comprehensive care for every child who walks through our doors.”

The Mayo Clinic – Children’s Minnesota Cardiovascular Collaborative brings together two renowned programs to deliver comprehensive pediatric heart care — from before birth and into adulthood. This unique collaboration leverages the complementary strengths of both programs, enabling physicians to provide services across locations in Minneapolis and Rochester. By sharing clinical expertise, expanding coverage, and fostering joint research and education, the collaboration enhances care for children with complex heart conditions and drives innovation to improve outcomes for the most vulnerable patients.

Children’s Minnesota’s joint nephrology program with M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital delivers expert, family-centered care for children with kidney conditions. Led by a team of specialists, the program offers comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of kidney diseases, while collaborating closely with families and other pediatric experts to ensure the best possible outcomes.
