PAUL (July 11, 2023) – The Kid Experts® at Children’s Minnesota have once again been recognized as a Best Children’s Hospital by U.S. News & World Report, sharing a ranking for cardiology and heart surgery with Mayo Clinic and for nephrology with M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital. The annual Best Children’s Hospitals rankings and ratings are designed to assist families and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive care for challenging health conditions.
The Mayo Clinic – Children’s Minnesota Cardiovascular Collaborative has been ranked as top performing in Pediatric Cardiology & Heart Surgery in the U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospitals for 2023-2024. In addition, the collaborative was recognized as one of the best for treating children with severe congenital heart defects.

The Mayo Clinic – Children’s Minnesota Cardiovascular Collaborative provides comprehensive pediatric cardiovascular services – from routine care to advanced cardiac surgeries, from before birth and into adulthood. As part of the collaboration, physicians from each of the programs provide services at the other’s location, expanding coverage and improving educational opportunities.
The nephrology program collaboration between Children’s Minnesota and M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital, also ranked as a 2023-24 Best Children’s Hospital for Nephrology. The program offers consultation on and management of a wide range of kidney diseases in children.
