Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) has been in high demand during the COVID-19 pandemic. John Hendricks, biomed engineering manager at Children’s Minnesota, and Tenzin Namkha, logistics project coordinator, were interviewed by KARE-TV about joining together to produce face shields for frontline staff. The team, with help of other staff at the Minneapolis hospital, met their goal of 5,000 shields in seven days.
