Overview

Children’s Minnesota has a team of Nurse Practitioners who are board certified in wound, ostomy and continence care.  They are available for consults 24/7 and partner with all sub-specialties, parents and children to expedite the best wound healing possible.  Interventions include prevention products to consider, family education for ostomy home care and severe wound management techniques.

  • Minor to complex wounds of all types
  • Colostomy, ileostomy and other stomas
  • Pressure injuries-prevention and treatment
  • Irritations, skin damage or wounds that results from medical devices
  • Various types of common dermatitis
  • Mild to moderate acute and chronic skin conditions
