Children’s Physician Access is available 24/7 with a representative on the line throughout the call to assist with referrals, consultations and admissions and to provide general information.
Medication advice and assistance
For pediatricians, primary care physicians and other health care professionals, a clinical pharmacist is available to gather, analyze and interpret drug and drug therapy information 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Call 866-755-2121 or 612-343-2121.
Requests may include questions about drug doses, side effects, adverse reactions, drug interactions, foreign drug identification and other topics.

Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota offers a pharmacy practice residency designed to provide residents with a wide range of clinical and professional experience.
Residents complete a residency project; take part in department initiatives and hospital committees; and participate in clinical education programs for patients, families and Children’s staff.
