Orthopedic Sports Medicine Program
Youth sports across the United States are growing at a rapid pace. Grade school, junior high, and high school athletes are not only involved in community and school activities, but also competing within “elite” teams at younger and younger ages.
As a pediatric facility, Children’s Minnesota understands that treating athletic injuries and medical problems in growing children is quite different from treating adults. This clinic is one of the few in the country dedicated to the care of young athletes and primarily focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of sports related disorders.
The Sports Medicine Clinic is staffed by a pediatric orthopedic surgeon and a physical therapist. We believe this team approach will help our patients quickly recover and get back in the game.
