Reasons to seek a second opinion

Whether your child was born with a condition, experienced an injury, or has aesthetic concerns, our pediatric specialists deliver safe, compassionate care designed for kids and families. You can seek a second opinion after receiving the news that your child might need surgery. Or you were told your child does not need surgery, but you still have concerns.

If your current provider has talked you through your options, a second opinion may:
  • increase your confidence in your treatment plan.
  • offer additional insight or alternative treatments from our specialized team of pediatric plastics experts.
You are not required to transfer your care from your current provider if you seek a second opinion.
