Filmless and incredibly fast

Children’s is “filmless.” In other words, if a referring physician needs to examine a patient’s images, we’ll copy the image on a CD for physicians to view on their office computers. What’s more, our new state-of-the-art voice recognition transcription software drastically reduces our turnaround time on reports to referring physicians. Reports are available literally within minutes of a radiologist viewing and interpreting an image.

Critical results reporting

In addition to accessing testing reports faster, referring physicians can also specify their preferred means of receiving critical results — via page, text message, fax, email or phone. They will then be able to easily access a voice recording detailing the critical results findings.
