Important update on walk-in care at the Minneapolis Clinic

We are currently limiting the number of walk-in appointments. If you do not have a scheduled appointment, you may not be able to get in today or wait times could be long. Due to COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses, we are seeing more patients than usual. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The experts at Children’s Minnesota Minneapolis clinic care for kids in all stages of childhood. Our pediatricians and nurse practitioners have the support of the whole Children’s network of specialists and family resources. We offer general pediatric health care for children throughout their development from birth to young adulthood. Integrated behavioral health specialists also see patients on site at our clinic. As a team, we strive to deliver personalized, high-quality care to our diverse community.

COVID-19 testing and vaccinations

COVID-19 testing is an option at the Children’s Minnesota Minneapolis clinic for all kids – with or without symptoms. A visit with a provider is required. Availability for COVID-19 testing, and the time it takes to get results, may vary. Learn more.

If you are looking for testing without a visit with a provider, there are many options available – you can visit your local retail pharmacy or find a local COVID-19 testing site through the Minnesota Department of Health.

COVID-19 vaccinations are available in clinic for children ages 12 and up. Established patients can make an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccination only; new patients are required to have a visit with a provider in addition to receiving the COVID-19 vaccination.

Now offering virtual care

Some types of appointments may be offered as online virtual visits so you can receive care from the comfort of your home. When scheduling your appointment, ask if virtual care is available.
