Siva Chinnadurai, MD, MPH, named medical director of ear, nose and throat (ENT), facial plastic surgery and audiology

We are delighted to share that Siva Chinnadurai, MD, MPH, is the new medical director of ear, nose and throat (ENT), facial plastic surgery and audiology at Children’s Minnesota.

Dr. Chinnadurai joined Children’s Minnesota in 2017 and was instrumental in the creation of the state’s first comprehensive, multidisciplinary aerodigestive clinic. He also designed the ENT research program, dramatically increasing the research productivity of the division, garnering extensive extramural funding and spearheading the creation of a funded research fellowship. He has held various leadership roles at Children’s Minnesota, including scientific director of pediatric otolaryngology; medical director of the microtia/ear shape program and the aerodigestive clinic; and associate chief of surgery.

He is also very active in global surgical education and participates in numerous local and national professional societies. His clinical interests include pediatric head and neck surgery, and airway and facial reconstruction, including ear anomalies, cleft lip and palate, and facial trauma.

This medical directorship was previously held by Abby Meyer, MD, MPH, who was recently promoted to senior medical director of surgical specialties. Tiffanie Woods, APRN-CNP, and Jesi Novak, AuD, CCC-A, PASC, will continue in their roles as associate medical director of ENT advanced practice providers and audiology supervisor, respectively. Dr. Meyer continues to support these ENT and audiology leaders as Children’s Minnesota strives for clinical excellence.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Chinnadurai on his promotion! His thoughtful and collaborative leadership will be crucial to the ongoing growth of Children’s Minnesota’s ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery, and Audiology programs.
