In 2024, Children’s Minnesota is excited to expand our services and care for more kids at the Children’s Minnesota Surgery and Specialty Center in Minnetonka!
Throughout the year, we are expanding Children’s Minnesota specialty clinics, primary care and a laboratory at our Minnetonka campus. The campus updates will include:
Expanded specialty clinics
- Specialty clinics moving to a new, renovated suite in April:
- New specialty clinics coming in April and May:
- New specialty clinics coming in summer/fall:
- Nephrology
- Adolescent health
- Hematology
Partners in Pediatrics Clinic
- A Partners in Pediatrics Clinic, which will offer primary, walk-in and same-day sick care. The Partners in Pediatrics – Plymouth Clinic will relocate to Minnetonka in September 2024.
Outpatient laboratory
- Our first outpatient laboratory collection center and a testing laboratory that will provide testing for services provided on the Minnetonka campus.
Services already provided at our Minnetonka campus include surgery, medical imaging, rehab, Children’s Minnesota Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) and Facial Plastic Surgery Clinic, Children’s Respiratory and Critical Care Services and Pediatric Surgical Associates.

Patients will be able to access a variety of specialty services at one convenient location. Our clinicians onsite collaborate on your child’s care so they get exactly what they need. Our Minnetonka campus can be a one-stop destination for a patient’s primary care, specialty care, imaging, lab, etc. We’re doing all this because our patients deserve the best: health care that is excellent, compassionate and customized to their unique health needs.

In September 2024, the Children’s Minnesota Partners in Pediatrics – Plymouth Clinic is moving to our Minnetonka Specialty Center, located at 6060 Clearwater Drive. After the move, our new primary care clinic name will be Children’s Minnesota Partners in Pediatrics – Minnetonka Clinic.

We are excited to open a brand-new Partners in Pediatrics Clinic at the Children’s Minnesota Specialty Center in Minnetonka to better serve patients and families in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities.
The new primary care clinic will be in the same building as other Children’s Minnesota services such as medical imaging, lab, adolescent care, etc. Having access to multiple specialty clinics under one roof is a significant benefit for our patients and we are excited to provide these services all at one location.
Your child can continue receiving primary care and same-day sick care at our Partners in Pediatrics – Plymouth Clinic until we move in September. After the move, your child can receive primary care at our new Partners in Pediatrics clinic at the Minnetonka Specialty Center located at 6060 Clearwater Drive.
Rest assured, all clinicians from our Partners in Pediatrics – Plymouth Clinic are moving to our new location in Minnetonka, so your child can continue to be cared for by your current clinician.
Additionally, the Minnetonka Specialty Center is conveniently located off I-494 and MN-62 with plenty of parking and easy access.
Currently, patient families can still schedule appointments at our Partners in Pediatrics – Plymouth Clinic and be seen at this location through August. Starting mid-June 2024, our team can schedule patients at our new Partners in Pediatrics – Minnetonka Clinic to be seen after our move in September.
If you would like to transition your child’s primary care to another location, such as our Maple Grove or St. Louis Park clinics, please contact us or speak with our staff at your child’s next visit.
